Our client is an airline organisation operating and maintaining a commercial aircraft fleet. They are seeking a Manager, Technical Planning to lead service engineering activities and ensure continuing airworthiness, reliability, and compliance with applicable airworthiness requirements.

The Manager Technical Planning is responsible for the overall management, supervision, and control of aircraft maintenance planning, maintenance programmes, and continuing airworthiness records. Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, the role ensures that all maintenance activities are planned, coordinated, documented, and carried out in compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.

Key responsibilities:

• Developing, maintaining, and improving approved aircraft maintenance programmes for the fleet.
• Producing and monitoring maintenance forecasts, technical plans, work packages, and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Managing aircraft records, including continuing airworthiness records, technical histories, and life-limited component tracking.
• Ensuring compliance with Airworthiness Directives (ADs), mandatory inspections, and applicable aviation regulations.
• Coordinating maintenance activities with approved maintenance organisations (Part-145 AMOs), engineering teams, materials departments, and other stakeholders.
• Monitoring maintenance performance, turnaround times (TAT), manpower utilisation, material availability, and programme effectiveness.
• Supervising maintenance planning personnel and providing direction, guidance, and performance oversight.
• Supporting fleet introductions by reviewing technical records and preparing aircraft acceptance documentation and checklists.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives and assisting with departmental procedures, projects, and management assignments.
• Ensuring maintenance work packages are prepared, reviewed, and issued on time to support both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering (or related discipline) or an appropriate Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
• Formal training on at least one aircraft type operated by the company.
• Minimum of five (5) years' aviation industry experience with a strong understanding of airworthiness regulations.
• Knowledge of CARC Part-M, Part-145, Part-21, company procedures (CAME), and maintenance practices.
• Practical experience in applying aviation safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements.

Monthly Remuneration: up to USD 5,000 p.m.
