Our airline client is operating nearly 30 domestic routes and is recognized as a market leader in Papua New Guinea.

Position

The Manager, HR Systems & Compliance reports functionally to the Group HR Manager and operationally to the CEO. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic business environment while ensuring best-practice human resource management, HR systems effectiveness, and workforce compliance.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing HRIS systems, HR data, reporting, and system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, labor regulations, and HR compliance practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, mediation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with HR and payroll software systems is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain HR systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR compliance and employee relations matters.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with employment laws, labor regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop, improve, and implement HR processes, systems, and procedures.
  • Generate HR reports and analyze workforce data to support decision-making.
  • Promote a proactive, collaborative, and high-performing workplace culture.
  • Support recruitment activities and provide advice to management on hiring and workforce planning.
  • Lead and manage HR-related projects and initiatives.

  • Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
