Brookfield Aviation is recruiting experienced Embraer E190/E195 Type Rating Examiners (TREs) and Type Rating Instructors (TRIs) for a renewable airline contract in Africa.

The opportunity offers an attractive 8 weeks ON / 4 weeks OFF roster, company-provided accommodation, return travel for rostered leave and comprehensive expatriate support.

Position

We are looking for current E190/E195 TREs and TRIs to support flight crew training, checking and operational standards within an Embraer E-Jet operation.

The initial contract is for 12 months and renewable, with up to 85 block hours per month.


Requirements
  • Valid ATPL
  • Current Class 1 Medical
  • Valid E190/E195 Type Rating
  • Current TRE or TRI approval on type
  • Minimum of 1,000 hours on type
  • ICAO English Level 4 or above
  • TRE applicants: strong instructional and examining experience
  • TRI applicants: proven flight training experience
  • No accident or incident history
  • No criminal record
  • Professional attitude and strong commitment to aviation safety

Terms
  • TRE remuneration: USD 12,000 per month
  • TRI remuneration: USD 11,500 per month
  • 12-month renewable contract
  • 8 weeks ON / 4 weeks OFF
  • Up to 85 block hours per month
  • Overtime payable above 85 hours per month
  • USD 100 per day for simulator sessions
  • USD 50 per overnight duty outside base
  • Company-provided accommodation
  • Hotel accommodation whilst operating away from base
  • Return travel for rostered leave, simulator sessions and training
  • Ground transportation for duty purposes
  • The Pilot will have access to the Airline’s medical facilities on base in accordance with existing polices for equivalent personnel.
  • Visa and work permit provided
