On behalf of our client, a leading airline operating nearly 30 domestic routes in Papua New Guinea, we are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and support enterprise IT operations.

The IT Manager role reports to the General Manager IT, oversee systems, infrastructure, and IT teams, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient technology aligned with business needs.

• Degree in IT or related field (postgraduate preferred)
• Proven experience in IT management
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, networks, and systems
• Experience in budgeting and vendor coordination
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Manage IT systems, networks, and telecommunications
• Ensure system performance, security, and availability
• Lead troubleshooting and IT support services
• Support budgeting, planning, and vendor management
• Oversee IT inventory, upgrades, and maintenance
• Provide user training and onboarding
• Support hiring and management of IT staff
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
