Our client is one of the top airlines in the region, operating nearly 30 domestic routes and is recognized as the market leader in the country. On their behalf, we are looking for a NDT Specialist for MRO Department.

Position

This role reports directly to the General Manager of MRO and includes the following responsibilities: 

  • Conducting NDT inspections on airframes and aircraft components in compliance with relevant manuals.

  • Approving and certifying NDT inspection results on airframes and aircraft components in line with the applicable manuals.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform On-Wing and On-Shop NDT inspection on components (i.e. aircraft wheels, brakes, engine components and other parts of the aircraft) as required in accordance with applicable manufacturer’s NDT manual.
  • Perform NDT inspection on areas required for EO, RD, AD, and SB compliance in accordance with manufacturer’s NDT manual.
  • Submit NDT inspection report after completion.
  • Maintain completeness of all complied NDT inspection records.
  • Perform quality assurance check of all NDT equipment to ensure calibration is current at all times.
  • Assist monthly inventory of all NDT equipment.
  • Maintain completeness of all NDT equipment as per requirements on the maintenance plan.
  • Responsible for observing/implementing safety precautions and practices relative to NDT

Requirements
  • ASNT/PCN/AINDT level II certification in UT, PT, FP and RT disciplines.
  • Minimum 6 years in hands on NDT with working experience at site in past 6 months;
  • Minimum 4 years in hands on NDT role in the aviation industry.
  • Good mature leadership and team building skills, interpersonal, planning, communication and analytical abilities.

  • Annual Leave Tickets: 4 return flights per year
  • Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
