Are you ready to take your career to new heights? Our client, the leading domestic airline of Papua New Guinea, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager Safety & Quality MRO to drive growth and success within the Engineering (MRO) department. 

The Manager Safety & Quality is responsible to the General Manager MRO for the following:

• Recognising safety as a core value in all decision making in his area of responsibility
• Fostering a positive safety culture within his area of responsibility and by personal example, demonstrating a commitment to the company safety policy
• Pursuing corporate safety and quality objectives in day-to-day activities
• Supporting the management team in their application of the safety management plan
• Responsible for the day to day management of the Safety & Quality Management Systems for the MRO Division.

• The ability to proactively develop systems/products and procedures and ability to operate effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
• The ability to provide advice to senior management team on safety and compliance matters
• The ability to sense and maintain a high level of customer service and industry best practice standards.
• Have management skills (including leadership and team building) and the ability to promote a proactive, harmonious work culture across the APNG network.
• Has extensive aviation safety and compliance experience.
• Displays a sound understanding of corporate business objectives and plans including related operational policies and procedures.

Salary Band would be on local Market Value (this will be discussed after a successful candidate has been identified)

Full-time position will get following benefits:
