Aviation Contracts Manager \| Immediate Start \| Papua New Guinea Permanent Hire Papua New Guinea Competitive Gross Salary Apply
Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Aviation Contracts Manager to join our Commercial Department in Oceania. This role is critical to the safe and efficient delivery of charter operations across Papua New Guinea. Position The Aviation Contracts Manager is responsible for driving the growth of the charter market and overseeing the delivery of charter products and services. This includes developing and managing both adhoc and long-term charter agreements, particularly within the government and resource sectors. OVERALL DESCRIPTION 1. Safety This includes leading the implementation of the company’s safety and quality management systems, conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with emergency response procedures, investigating incidents, and promoting a strong safety culture across all charter activities. 2. Key relationships External – Build and maintain robust relationships and strong communication lines with all contractor stakeholders Internal – Succeed in market growth through the engagement of internal service providers by activating resources within the; Operations, Customer Service, Commercial, IT and Finance teams. Ensure communication and reporting lines are mature in the transmission of informationand data relating to all aspects of the Charter market, current and existing clients as well as evolution in the space. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES 1. Contract Management & Compliance 2. Market Research and reporting Responsibilities 3. Revenue 4. New Contract & Market Expansion Responsibilities 5. Service Execution & Delivery (Operational) Responsibilities Requirements QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE Tertiary qualities preferably in Business and or Finance related discipline Experience in the Aviation industry treated favorably PNG or emerging market economies experience is an advantage Experience in managing contracts 5 – 10 years of industry experience Terms Salary negotiable Annual Leaves: 30 days (full-time contract) Sick leaves: 9 days (full-time contract for tours 6 days) Annual Leave Tickets: 4 return tickets per annum (full-time contract) General This is a great opportunity to have an excellent experience working with one of the leading airlines in Papua New Guinea.
