Our airline client Luxair is an established airline in Europe, operating short- and medium-haul flights across Europe.
Position
We are looking for B737 Direct Entry First Officers to be based in Luxembourg.
Requirements
- Part-FCL (European) ATPL license (or CPL/IFR with frozen ATPL)
- Current Type Rating Boeing 737 or at least 2,000 hours flying with an airline under EASA OPS
- Valid class 1 medical
- Secondary school leaving qualification entitling to university access in the country it was issued and/or a recognized university diploma
- Very good command of the English language, at least ELP 4 or higher
- Height over 156 cm
Terms
Permanent contract:
- If living further away from Luxembourg Airport than 150km: choice between relocation package of €1,500 net, reimbursed via expanse report and documented with related invoices OR hotel stay of 2 weeks at the beginning of employment, hotel close to the airport including breakfast
- Sign on bonus of €3,000 gross, paid in the month following the successful release on line
Salary:
- First Officers on the Boeing 737 with a respective type rating receive a gross monthly starting salary of €5,855.47. For every 1,000 flight hours with scheduled airlines, 1 salary scale time unit will be credited towards the starting salary. Next salary scale time unit is €6,091.57, then €6,327.68, then €6,563.79, etc.
- First Officers on the Boeing 737 without a respective type rating but at least 2,000 flight hours with an EASA operator, receive a gross monthly starting salary of €4,421.25 until their release on line. The month following the release on line, the gross monthly salary will be of €6,327.68.
- Luxembourg has advantageous tax rates. You may use www.bdo.lu for a salary calculation.
- As per Luxembourg Labor Law, salaries are adjusted in line with the evolution of the costs of living (indexation) - if the consumer price index increases by 2.5% during the previous semester, salaries are normally adjusted by the same proportion.
