Our client, a reputable airline in the Asian Pacific region, is currently looking for a Planning Business Improvement Manager for a permanent position. This Airline operates an extensive network of destinations and boasts a diverse fleet of both narrow-body and wide-body aircraft.

Position

The Planning Improvement Manager will be responsible for developing optimised maintenance schedules that are meticulously planned and executed. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvements across the business, ensuring operations are safe, compliant, reliable, and cost-effective.

Key responsibilities

  • Accountable for driving proactive and forward-looking initiatives to enhance the overall efficiency, effectiveness, performance and compliance of the planning function. 
  • Optimising the end-to-end maintenance planning processes from day to day of execution by identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement through process review, analysing KPIs and monitoring trends and patterns.
  • Developing and implementing processes, feedback and alert mechanisms to ensure compliance with AMS and mandatory task requirements.
  • Leading investigations to identify the root cause(s) in cases of non-compliance with any AMS or mandatory task requirement and implement the necessary process improvements and safeguards to prevent recurrence. 
  • Leading and driving key strategic initiatives and automation projects to enhance the planning process, streamlining operations, improve operational efficiency and reduce the risk of non-compliance. 

Requirements
  • Engineering degree or an Aircraft Maintenance Licence. 
  • 10 years of related experience in an operational or maintenance planning role.  
  • Experience of managing and delivering high performance through a team. 
  • Experience of leading and delivering continuous business process improvement.  
  • Experience of managing suppliers and key stakeholders to deliver business outcomes. 
  • Ability to build strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.   
  • Commercial and business acumen.    
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Terms

The position of Planning Business Improvement Manager carries a basic salary around the equivalent of USD $ 8,900 to $12,000 per month plus a full set of benefits (annual leave, medical insurance, travel benefits, discretionary bonus and profit share). nd profit share).
