Our client, a renowned airline in the Asia-Pacific region, is seeking a Lead Technical Services Engineer – Reliability and Value Engineering for a permanent position. The airline operates an extensive network of destinations and boasts a diverse fleet of both narrow-body and wide-body aircraft. 

The position of Lead Technical Services Engineer – Reliability and Value Engineering is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, the position ensures that the fleet remains safe, compliant, reliable, punctual, and defect-free, directly contributing to the airline’s reputation for quality and reliability. 

Some of the key responsibilities include: 

• Acting as the interim Technical Services Manager during their absence, ensuring that responsibilities and deliverables are met. 
• Coordinating the teams workload, overseeing work quality, and maintaining high standards. 
• Offering specialist technical support and managing the continuous improvement of processes and procedures. 
• Conducting technical investigations, implementing corrective actions, and developing maintenance work scopes. 
• Managing vendor relationships to align with the Engineering Vision and Goals. 
• Staying current with industry best practices and mentoring new team members to enhance their engineering skills. 

• Possessing at least 8 years of experience in an Engineering role. 
• Holding a degree in Engineering or Aerospace discipline, or an equivalent professional qualification. 
• Having extensive aviation engineering knowledge and experience, preferably in Airbus and Boeing aircraft systems roles. 
• Being a holder of (or capable of obtaining) a Compliance Verification (CVE). 
• Demonstrating strong supplier management experience. 
• Exhibiting strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and influence across Engineering sections, OEMs, other operators, industry experts, and regulators.
