Excellent career move for an experienced Maintenance Control Manager to join an airline in the Asian Pacific region as a permanent employee. The airline operates an extensive network of destinations and boasts a diverse fleet of narrow-body and wide-body aircraft. 

 The position of Maintenance Control Manager is accountable for the 24/7 technical operational management of the airline fleet.

We are looking for candidates with extensive Maintenance Control Centre experience, solid people management and leadership skills, specifically for teams of around 20+ people. 

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

• Leading the Maintenance Control team by communicating business requirements, providing mentoring support and guidance to the team and tracking performance against business outcomes in support of world wide maintenance control and transit operation functions delivering operational excellence to the airline.
• Efficiently recovering AOG aircraft around the network and minimising loss of aircraft availability.
• Delivering an efficient home base transit operation in collaboration with the airport authority, MROs and fuel companies to meet the requirements of the operation.
• Managing all aspects of the airline’s line maintenance budget to deliver value to the organisation through disciplined cost management and continued improvement.

 The Maintenance Control Manager role is an office-based position.

• At least 10 years’ certifying experience on commercial Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in a Maintenance Control position within a major commercial airline.
• Must be the holder of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Licence with the appropriate type ratings.
• Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor with demonstrated ability to set directions for the team.
• Proven work experience in the field of aircraft defect troubleshooting with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. 

The position of Maintenance Control Manager carries a salary in the area of USD $11K to $14K per month inclusive of a specific role allowance. 

Alongside the basic monthly salary and allowance, the selected candidate will be provided the following set of benefits: annual leave, medical insurance, travel benefits and discretionary bonus.
