Our client, a reputable airline in the Asian Pacific region, is currently recruiting Lead Cabin Programmes Engineers to join them as permanent employees. The airline operates an extensive network of destinations and boasts a diverse fleet of narrow-body and wide-body aircraft. 

Position

The position of Lead Cabin Programmes Engineer directs all programme management related activity associated to specific cabin retrofit programmes starting from product/supplier selection through to delivery on the aircraft.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the development of new industry leading cabin product designs and reconfigurations for both production and/or retrofit aircraft.
  • Lead and oversee new cabin programmes to ensure all products are certified, produced and delivered on time, on budget and to specification.
  • Lead all LOPA studies and cabin reconfiguration proposals.
  • Lead the source selection analysis process for new cabin products ensuring full compliance to all technical and regulatory requirements.
  • Initiate and drive cabin reliability improvements for future cabin products through structured cross-functional engagement with key stakeholders and lessons learned.
  • Perform evaluation, costing and project planning of new livery designs or one-off paint schemes. 

Requirements

Please apply if you meet all the below criteria:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and/or engineering.
  • Degree in Engineering / Aerospace discipline.
  • Proven cabin engineering knowledge.
  • Proven experience in supervising, managing cabin projects and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability in supplier management and working with OEMs and MROs.
  • Experience in LEAN projects is preferred
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong in communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Drive for excellence.
  • Adaptable and responsive to change with demonstrated ability to drive process improvements across the department. 

Terms

The position of Lead Cabin Programmes Engineer carries a basic salary around the equivalent of $5,500 to $8,500 per month depending on experience. Plus a full set of benefits (annual leave, medical insurance, travel benefits, discretionary bonus among others).
