Our client is an established airline in Oceania. The airline is the leading operator in the country and currently operates in nearly 30 domestic destinations. 

The General Manager Flight Operations/Chief Pilot reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for the management of all functions within. the Flying Operations Department.

• Must have an Air Transport Pilot license with Dash8/ATR72 type ratings.
• At least 05 years of experience as a Pilot in Command under Part 121 operations.
• At least 05 years of managerial experience in the aviation industry or equivalent.
• A proven ability to work with operational, technical and administrative staff and to be part of a senior management team.
• Must be flexible to work long and irregular hours.
• Ability to lead and communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organisation.
• Sufficient knowledge and experience in personal management and aviation in areas such as recruitment, development, assessment, training, personal policy development and personal administration to manage the pilot development function.

• Rotation on 6 weeks ON/ 3 weeks OFF 
• Base Salary: AUD 220K + 10K bonus at year-end on meeting KPIs (negotiable)
• Accommodation, flight ticket, insurance: provided by the airline
