Our client is a unique, International Air Cargo company in the handling of air and ground logistics as well as aviation services. They are currently seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their team in Europe. 

Position

The chosen applicant is responsible for increasing business activity for the maintenance company performance: income and profit from the relevant market by working with variety of business partners while locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing new and existing business relationships 

 

The primary responsible is to: 

  • Maintaining and developing business relationships with current set of customers. 
  • Approaching potential customers to discover needs and establish relationships. 
  • Negotiating customer contracts. 
  • Managing price lists and product literature. 
  • Keeping management informed by submitting activity and results reports, customer feedback and market analyses. 
  • Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing and services. 
  • Recommending changes in service and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments. 
  • Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management. 

Requirements

An ideal candidate must have: 

  • Degree in Economics/Business/Marketing 
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Business / Sales positions. 
  • Aviation industry experience within a maintenance environment ideally Cargo airline / Freight Forwarder companies / GSA. 
  • Line Maintenance Experience preferred. 
  • Very good negotiating skills. 
  • Strong customer service 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Excellent team player. 
  • Have a flexible approach, with a willingness to support all team members in the office. 
  • Open minded and willing to learn. 
  • Energetic with a strong work ethic. 
  • Ability to execute on multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability and willingness to travel abroad. 
  • Excellent analytical skills 
  • Fluent in English is a must. 

Terms

This is a permanent position which carries a remuneration in the area of 70K EUR, health and life insurance plus relocation package. This position also benefits from special tax status of 15% in the country. 


General

Willingness to travel nationally and internationally. 

You must hold the right to live and work in Europe in order to be considered for this position
