Our airline client is one of the Asias largest and long-established Low-Cost Carriers, operating flights to both domestic and international destinations.

We are looking for a Director, Network Control & Operations Support.

Reporting directly to the Group Director of Network Control & Operations Support, this role will be responsible for the management of Operations Support, accountable for ensuring compliance with procedures and processes, and delivery of the strategic direction. 

They will uphold legal, regulatory and operational fitness in all aspects of Flight Technical & Technical Publications as well as providing functional authority to Flight Dispatch, ensuring conformance to local and foreign civil aviation regulations, acting in accordance at all times within the applicable conditions and restrictions of the airlines AOC. 

Owner of the EFB/iPad portfolio and all activities relating to the Technical Pilots.

Education & Training

• Bachelor of Science degree preferably related to aviation, aeronautical engineering, or airline operations

Knowledge & Experience

• Minimum 8 years experience in airline operations support 
• Proven experience of people leadership in a change environment
• Strong safety and operational expertise
• Proven experience in decision making and prioritization
• Extensive background in Internal/External stakeholder management
• Achieving consensus when dealing with conflicting priorities
• Experience in operational and technical systems

• Highly experienced in financial analysis and vendor management
• Flexible and agile, always ready to adapt when things don’t go to plan
• Able to deliver to tight deadlines whilst keeping wider team motivated to achieve the vision/goal Partners collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
