Our client is a unique, International Air Cargo company in the handling of air and ground logistics as well as aviation services. They are currently seeking to recruit a Head of Network Planning, Alliances and Revenue Management to join their team in Europe. 

Position

Manage all commercial related activities in the agreed and assigned area. Organize and directly participate in development and execution of the yearly, monthly, weekly group schedule planning, enabling us to scale greater heights and revenues.

 


Requirements

• Economist or industrial engineer background- An advantage

• Commercial orientation and experience - liaising with clients in Israel and abroad.

• Experience in performing analytics and pricing.

• Experience in purchasing and logistics - an advantage.

• Experience from the aviation world / handling companies / shipping - a significant advantage.

• Work in a computer environment, excel- High Level proficient.

• Availability outside working hours.

• Familiar with the world of aviation and cargo - a significant advantage.

• Required High-level of English.

• Availability outside working hours.

Terms

Planning & Traffic rights:

• Co-ordinate the group’s planned schedule with stakeholders within and outside the group. Handling of dedicated flights from the sale stage to execution.

• Ensure the smooth execution of group’s commercial schedule in the most effective & efficient way.

• Ensure all relevant updates surrounding all planning connected information and documents are given to all relevant parties in the Group’s Companies.

• Ensure all information in connection with the schedule planning is communicated in accordance with the Company and the Group’s regulations.

• Take measures in improvement of schedule planning, duly inform the CCO about them.

• Changing flight schedule, flight path, changing planes, adding flights, when needed.

• Pricing of flights / destinations, performing economic analyzes / analyzes /profitability.

• Directly responsible for obtaining traffic rights, slots, and all necessary commercial permits to ensure the smooth operation for the Group’s activity.

• Communication with external parties, airlines, aviation authorities, airports, etc.

• Control of contracts between countries / pilot rights etc.

Interline & Projects:

• Develop and provide the CCO with proposals regarding the Groups planning.

• Evaluating new destinations, partnerships with other airlines.

• Engage in long-term commercial strategic projects.

• Participate in development and realization of the Groups planes on interaction with external service providers within his/her competence.

• Outsourcing additional capacity (ACMI/BSA).

Revenue Management

• Playing a pivotal role in the Strategic Planning, Marketing Plan, and budgeting processes.

• You will be responsible for defining, implementing and sustaining global pricing, contracting and revenue management processes, standards and policies.

• As such, you will drive the rationalization, standardization and innovation of pricing models, pricing structures and rate sheets.

• Ensuring high quality of revenue management processes and communications is applied consistently.

• You will define, implement and maintain data insights standards in market (demand, supply, utilization) and competitor (capabilities, strengths, weaknesses)

• Tracking and analysis of competitive set pricing and yield strategies, gaining the ability to predict the comp set reaction to changes in the marketplace.

• Monitoring the market, market conditions, new entrants and other data and information that may influence the commercial performance.

• Ensuring that sales and pricing strategies are based on sound commercial judgement through effective analysis and management reporting.

• Effectively managing rates through all distribution channels.

• Developing the Revenue Team.

 


General

The ideal candidate needs to be willing to relocate with experience in network planning and revenue maximisation and management.
