Operations Director - Flag Carrier Airline - Up to €120,000 annual salary Full-time contract West Africa Up to €120,000 P.A. Apply
Our exclusive client, a Flag Carrier Airline in West Africa is seeking a highly experienced Operations Director to oversee all aspects of operations, including flight operations, ground operations, safety, security, and regulatory compliance. Position Develop and implement operational strategies and procedures to support the airlines business objectives and manage operational budgets and performance metrics. Oversee the scheduling of flights and the allocation of resources, including aircraft, crew, and ground handling services. Identify areas for improvement in operations and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Work closely with other departments, such as maintenance, finance, and commercial, to ensure alignment of operational objectives with overall business strategy. Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including airport authorities, regulatory agencies, and other airlines. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, including safety, security, and environmental regulations. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in airline operations and in a senior leadership role. Strong knowledge of airline operations, including flight scheduling, crew management, ground handling, and safety and security regulations. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams. Professional and academic qualifications-pilot licences are a plus.
